When the Stars Go Blue by Ryan Adams
This post is called 'Mood Penguin' because the only thing it will do is cryptically describe my feelings and allow you to read into them; and also tell you that my favorite animal (after dogs) is the penguin, simply because any bird in a tux can potentially be my BFF.
I guess it's pretty normal to hear an awesome new song and listen to it on repeat until it gets old, but do you ever bounce back to old songs (sometimes even the kind of old that is just outdated and not yet cool / well-informed). If you feel me, you can probably understand that I've always wondered why certain songs appeal to me over the other top 40s / good music certs from friends), and why that one particular song totally speaks to my soul but only sounds meh to my hip roomie.
For the six of you who read my blog regularly, MoodPenguin will be a recurring post, and it might not feature the coolest music ever, but hey maybe you will like it. But if you don't, just pretend and tell me you do?!
